Biology - Gifted A 2 semester course that provides an in-dept study of biological principles and includes the study of the scientific method, ecological relationships, biochemistry, classification, the structure and function of invertebrate and vertebrate animal classes, genetics, and the human body.
Placement in the Gifted Program. 10th Grade must have completed Physical Science. 9th Grade students must be admitted to the Adv. Science Program.

Human Anatomy and Physiology A2 semester course that is recommended for students considering a career in any medically-related field. Topics studied include chemistry of life, homeostasis, cells and tissues, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems, the immune, endocrine, circulatory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Laboratory dissection of vertebrate animal and various animal organs are integral labs for this course.
