1. To develop a greater appreciation for Music.
2. To develop INDIVIDUAL performance growth specific to each instrument,
with special attention to improvings one's tone, articulation,
intonation, phrasing, and other techniques.
3. To develop ENSEMBLE performance awareness of such musical ideas
as balance, blend, tuning, melody, and harmony.
4. To develop an understanding of MUSIC HISTORY and its many periods,
styles, composers, and performers.
5. To develop discipline, responsibility, and teamwork concepts
that will help to enrich our lives.
