Welcome to the FCHS media center homepage.  The mission of our media center is to provide access to a collection of print and non-print materials that supports the FCHS curriculum and research needs while also encouraging the development of reading as a lifelong habit.

4th Annual Georgia Peach Book Award

Students, here is your chance to participate in choosing the best books for teens in Georgia.  The program is very simple.  We have 20 books in the media center that have been nominated for this statewide award. To participate, you may read as many or as few as you like. After reading the book, you can obtain a ballot in the media center that will allow you to rate the quality of the book.  In April we’ll send in the rankings from FCHS students to the state.  After all votes are tallied the state will announce the Georgia Peach Award Book for 2007-2008!
