Applied Problem Solving A 2 semester course, emphasizes real-life problem solving utilizing a laboratory approach in which students are involved in hands-on learning activities. The course focuses on the mathematical areas of problem solving, number operations, estimation, measurement and geometry, ratio and proportion, and data representation and analysis.

Applied Algebra A 2 semester course, emphasizes algebra concepts throughout the strands of the course. Math topics include linear equations, graphing data, nonlinear equations, inequalities, factoring, patterns and functions, quadratics, systems of equations, powers and roots, statistics and probability.

Applied Geometry A 2 semester course that provides students with a geometry background from a a hands-on problem-solving approach. math topics include right angle relationships, trig functions, coordinate geometry, transformations, and logic.

Statistics A 1 semester course that is designed to teach students how to apply statistical methods in problem solving. Concepts studied are data exploration and prediction, sampling design, probability and simulation, and sampling distributions and inferences.

Mathematical Money Management A 2 semester course that provides a core Sr. level math course for students in the Tech Prep Program and an elective Sr. level math course for students in the College Prep Program. Skills will be studied using project based activities in order for students to make informed decisions about money management.

Algebra I A 2 semester course that explores the fundamental idea of algebra, variable, and explores it in theory and application. Algebraic concepts in graphing, polynomials and other rational expressions, radical expressions, linear equations and inequalities, systems of equations, powers and roots, quadratic equations, and the quadratic formula are also studied extensively. **Successful completion of Algebra I satisfies the algebra requirement for high school graduation.
