| Fayette County High School’s Future Business
Leaders of America are celebrating CTAE month by inviting different
colleges to inform students of their post-secondary opportunities.
These colleges include; AIU, Gordon, Clayton State, Griffin Tech,
and Westwood College. In addition, students will celebrate FBLA week
from February 12-16.
FBLA week will focus on informing students of the membership and
activities in the oldest and largest national organization that
prepares students for careers in business leadership.
• Monday--students will wear their FBLA T-Shirts.
•
Tuesday--Westwood College will be speaking to the students about
careers.
•
Wednesday--there will be a guest speaker from Griffin Technical
College speaking about opportunities and program degrees.
•
Thursday--students will be able to pick up a Power Point Competition
requirement form for the Career Power Point Competition that will
be held after school March 7 at the monthly FBLA meeting. First
place winners of this Power Point Competition will receive $25,
second place will receive $15, and third place will receive $5.
•
Friday --“Dress For Success” day. Students will receive
extra credit in their CTAE classes when they come to school dressed
for a job interview.
This is an exciting month to explore different careers and interests
and to prepare FCHS with the experiences they need to succeed in
the real world!
